Rooted in a deep connection to nature and the wisdom of the body, my work blends mind, body, and spirit through a unique integration of therapy, coaching, sound healing, and sacred circles.
With years of experience working with children, teens, and adults, I create a safe, compassionate space for healing at every stage of life. My therapy practice incorporates EMDR, mindfulness, and somatic approaches to help clients process trauma, manage anxiety, and cultivate self-awareness. Chaos.’ Truly, he’s the calm presence that keeps everything moving. John graduated from Castleton State College in 1997 receiving a degree in Sociology. In his free time he loves to hike, bike, ski, and travel with his adventure partner; which includes Van Life. Earlier in his childhood he lived in Scotland for 2 years which fostered his love of traveling. In his former life, he was a School Resource Officer and Detective. He is currently semi-retired and is part of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. He very much enjoys helping people and is excited to work with you on your journey with Summit Counseling.

I hold a Master’s degree from Antioch University and have dedicated my work to supporting teens and adults as they navigate stress, trauma, and the complexities of being human. When life becomes overwhelming, it’s natural to feel unraveled or disconnected from yourself. My goal is to help you rediscover your inner strength, build supportive coping skills, and create a life that feels meaningful and grounded again.
I work with individuals ages 16 and up, offering a warm, compassionate, and integrative approach tailored to your unique needs.
While there is no single path to healing, I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, Integrated Somatic Trauma work, EMDR, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to guide the process with intention and care.
In our work together, you can expect a supportive environment where you’re encouraged to explore, grow, and gently challenge old patterns always with respect, humor, and a deep belief in your ability to heal.
