Service Description

Caregiving—whether professional or personal—can be deeply meaningful, and it can also be profoundly depleting. This 90-minute workshop is designed for caregivers, helpers, and healers who are feeling emotionally exhausted, overwhelmed, or disconnected from their own needs. Blending psychoeducation with somatic experiencing–informed practices, this workshop offers both understanding and embodied tools for restoration. Participants will explore how burnout and caregiver fatigue impact the nervous system, emotions, and sense of self, while learning to recognize early warning signs before depletion becomes chronic. Through guided reflection, gentle somatic exercises, and practical skills, participants will: Learn the physiology of stress, burnout, and compassion fatigue Understand how chronic caregiving demands affect the nervous system Build awareness of personal limits, capacity, and internal resources Practice simple, accessible somatic techniques to support regulation, grounding, and renewal Reconnect with rest, pleasure, and resilience—without guilt This workshop emphasizes experiential learning, inviting participants to listen to their bodies as a source of wisdom and healing. No prior experience with somatic practices is required. All exercises are invitational, adaptable, and grounded in safety and choice. Participants will leave with a deeper understanding of their own stress responses, practical tools they can use immediately, and a renewed sense that caring for themselves is not a luxury—it is essential to sustaining their capacity to care for others.
